Visceral Manipulation

What is Visceral Manipulation?

It's a gentle manual therapy where the therapist assesses the structural relationships between the viscera (organs), and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to other systems in the body. This means our specially trained therapists are able to help relieve pain when those issues are related to decreased mobility of an organ.

For example, when you work a desk job and develop poor posture due to the repetitiveness of sitting all day, not only do you have a postural alignment issue, but the lungs also experience increased compression. Visceral Manipulation of the lungs and surrounding structures can help restore your ability to take a deeper breath and make it easier for you to improve and maintain your postural alignment.
